XXX BLOG POST CHECK THIS OUT! BARELY LEGAL! TOP SEXY PRANKS! #PRANKCITY

Ready for some squishy, moist pranks?

WELL HERE WE GO

I've noticed this rising internet phenomenon has been plaguing YouTube and various other media sites. I can call Facebook a media site now. All I see are video shares now and the occasional "I'm graduating college!" or "I'm having a baby!" status updates. The latter I'm more fond of; I love seeing people succeed at life. It fills me with that warm, fuzzy feeling you get when you look at a really successful person. On the nose, but I also get that sense of hope for the human race, and how I can live vicariously through my Facebook's news feed; and that's why I dread video shares because I get nothing out of it other than the sparse "forcing air through nose" laugh when I find something humorous.
"I just updated my status! SoFlo's new stolen video rocks!"
Done with that.

This update is really important because it marks the second week of my weekly updates. I'm saying that, because I've decided to make this an actual weekly thing. That's right! You're favorite piece of 3 paragraph literature is now in a weekly format! I recently read this article from a gentlemen named Mark.. some other, and it's inspired me to make habits rather than goals. Which I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone else reading this. Now for the second part.

I've decided on setting a few goals for every week to complete. I know I literally just said to make habits rather than goals, not even 5 lines ago, but this one is to keep track of what I do.

I'll save that portion for the last bits, however.

I've watched a couple of things. I started my week with finishing Lady Snowblood: Love Song of Vengeance. It's the second movie in the series and sadly the last, because I really enjoyed the first Lady Snowblood. It is, in all senses, a timeless piece of work. The "chapter-by-chapter" format, tastefully cliche fight scenes and effects (I love oil based pastel blood), and the semi-predictable but still enjoyable twist at the end made for a really good time.
Please don't google Lady Snowblood in images.
What was an adaptation for a manga from the 60's, became even larger than life on the big screen. It felt like I was watching a Tarantino movie the whole time and I loved it. If the image above looks like a scene from Kill Bill, that's because this movie literally was the biggest inspiration for the creative development. Also, I'm in love with the actress who played Snowblood. So there.

I wish I could say the same about the second movie however. Everything, from the choreography in the fight scenes, to the actual cinematography just felt incredibly weak. The story is spun around an anarchist movement, and the whole movie Snowblood is being led everywhere by the plot to do anyone's whim. Trying not to spoil, but Snowblood's character is really weak this time around. She still does her routine display of poking bad guys with sharp sticks, but is easily swayed by whoever gives her the longest lecture about how the country is dying. Why should she care? I didn't take her for a patriot when she slaughtered the leader of the secret police or the politician smuggling guns for the country in the last movie. Why is there suddenly an interest in politics?

tl;dr I can't bring myself to like it as much as I did the first movie.

While watching these Japanese flicks, I also came across a movie on Hulu which I completely forgot the title of. I automatically label it as a "Watch with low volume when everyone is asleep" on account of it literally being porn. That came as a surprise to me as I can't go into the detai- Okay, it showed a guy's penis. It was definitely an adult film. The interesting part is that it was a movie first, and then a blatant 90's porno second. Maybe it was the way the movie was shot, but I didn't get the porno vibe I get from hopping on Pornhub or some other. High budget porn, I guess. I was only slightly uncomfortable.

Fourth movie I came to watch was House. I had to take this movie in strides, or I was going to have some serious nightmares. I don't want to say too much, but this movie is legit terrifying. From the moment the movie starts everything is just unsettling. The effects were fun, however, and I sometimes got a good laugh at the absurd Japanese things happening.

That should be it for my movies.

I did get to watch more anime this week. It was busy. (In watching a shit load of anime that is)

Hyperdimension Neptunia was a blast. Having played the game prior, the show takes on a separate plot from the games. The story wasn't all that great, as it did follow about four different arcs in the short span of 12 or so episodes. The characters are, and forever, lovable. Peashy was great, I adore her. I loved that they snuck in lines from the game into the actual show, and I felt pretty awesome when I could spot and hear them. It's a great adaptation, definitely watch if you enjoy the humor in the actual games.
That was good scene, it left me hard.. ly breathing.

Second show I got through in my short time was Himouto Umaru-chan. What came as curiosity while looking for another show I wanted to watch, I gave the first episode a shot and curiosity got the best of me. Six hours later after following an impromptu whim, I'm done with the show. I checked out and read a few chapters of the manga, and I'm debating now whether to wait for the really well done anime, or read the rest of the series which I am now enjoying too much.

It's a slice of life. The plot takes a few steps forward, but ultimately does not matter as you stay for the jokes and joy. Loved it, and I only felt a little shame being able to relate to the little sister. The references are fire in this one.

And that's it. I've been doing some gaming as well, but it doesn't take that much precedent to write that down here, as I think I've got too much already. Also I'm kind of tired.

As far as my goals for the week; it's time I write them. If I finish them or fail them, I'll write them down in next week's goals.

Is there some kind of bullet function on this? No? Someone, please tell me.

*Apply for Texas A&M and University of Houston
*Get an interview set up for Uncollege
*Call AIFES back, I think they might want to set up an interview, too lol
*Finish a movie or two
*Finish Hyperdimension Neptunia (This is a stretch, it will take all my willpower to do this, I am bad at sitting and finishing stuff)
*Go for a run

And that's it. Okay internet, thanks for reading. I love you, baby.
